she really needs to dye her hair back to this color......
david18   [Jan 11, 2009 at 11:56 AM]
This is a bit fried and stringy. A true model should be able to work any hair. I'm sure if Anya, Katarzyna, Melrose, or Jenah had California blonde hair that they would still be able to belt out great editorial shots. Whitney simply lacks "it".

^ Her brown hair makes her look more normal.
RunFiercely   [Jan 11, 2009 at 01:08 PM]
Melrose and Jenah did have California blonde hair and they still brought it. And this picture isn't that bad. But it's certainly not great.
david18   [Jan 11, 2009 at 01:13 PM]
Exactly. The fact that she NEEDS the hair shows that she truly isn't a high fashion girl. I'm really surprised by this ad, though. Don't they have stylists? The hair is horrible!
RunFiercely   [Jan 11, 2009 at 01:15 PM]
I think it's supposed to look wet. Like she just went swimming in a pool of fakeness.
david18   [Jan 11, 2009 at 01:16 PM]
This isn't wet. It's stringy and damaged. It could pass for a before photo for a hair care line.
RunFiercely   [Jan 11, 2009 at 01:17 PM]
Reminds me of my flat ironing days. I still relapse sometimes. But I don't want my hair to look like that again.
david18   [Jan 11, 2009 at 01:19 PM]
Lol. You're not alone. I like the way my hair looks naturally now. Flat-ironing is strictly limited to photoshoots and jobs, followed by a heavy duty hair treatment.
RunFiercely   [Jan 11, 2009 at 01:23 PM]
Yeah. I finally am letting my hair stay curly. I'm slowly getting used to it. You just need to find the right products to... ENHANCE... how your natural hair looks. I guess.
david18   [Jan 11, 2009 at 01:26 PM]
Well, let's see. When I get it cut, I usually get it cut to a more comfortable length where I get out of bed and look fiahce. But once it grows long, out of the shower, it's straight, but sleeping=bed head. But I love how a little wave or a few curls add to my look. And I'm sure a pop of color would help as well. My hair is light brown, and I've always wanted to go raven black.
RunFiercely   [Jan 11, 2009 at 01:31 PM]
If I let my hair dry naturally it turns into a big frizzy ugly thing. No, not Whitney, my hair-- SORRY, that joke was soooo bad... but I'm leaving it. Anyways, I just throw in some good curly hair hair products and I am beyond good! Alright! Wahoo!
yenegonrocks   [Jan 11, 2009 at 01:45 PM]
Well, you guys sure do put a lot of care into your hair. I wash it, condition it, towel dry, put some kind of curly hair cream thing, and I'm good. I like my hair, it's black and a nice curly, not a frizzy one. Very Happy
How tall are you guys?
david18   [Jan 11, 2009 at 01:47 PM]
I'm 6 feet.
yenegonrocks   [Jan 11, 2009 at 01:49 PM]
Wow, thanks a lot. Now I feel short. I'm 5'2. Crying or Very sad
david18   [Jan 11, 2009 at 01:54 PM]
You're young though. How tall are your parents?
yenegonrocks   [Jan 11, 2009 at 01:56 PM]
Mom: 5'1 Dad: 6'3
RunFiercely   [Jan 11, 2009 at 01:59 PM]
I'm 5'9-5'10. I like to think 5'10. But I don't know.
yenegonrocks   [Jan 11, 2009 at 02:00 PM]
A boy in my class is 5'11. He just turned 13. That should make you feel better. Very Happy
