For several reasons:

1) Sandra already has a look that is terribly in demand (look up Alek Wek). Teyona has a strong, edgy look, but people may not warm up to it instantly. Furonda had a similar look and never got anything for it, which is a great example of having a look doesn't guarantee an instant book.
2) The face in Teyona's innocence is absolutely unforgivable, and Sandra's isn't nearly as bad as the judges said it was, but she was merely the "teach a lesson" first bottom two victim of the cycle, like Melrose, Ebony, and Furonda. I'd say they were about par, if not Sandra being better.
3) Sandra didn't just have a better pic the 3rd week. She ABSOLUTELY ANNIHILATED Teyona's picture.
4) Teyona's lights photo wasn't a first call-out for me. Maybe 4th. And Sandra's, once again, wasn't as bad. I'd give it 6th.
5) Sandra has appearance in person down, versus Teyona who always needs a little eyeliner and generally looks busted at panel.
6) I feel Teyona did a great job this week, but Sandra's wasn't nearly as bad once more. It really does look like an immigrant who's had a hard life, like Teyona's, only not-so-good.
7) Sure, a nice look can only go so far, but the same goes for nice photos. I doubt a client would be thrilled to see her like she looks in panel and want to hire her right away, whereas Sandra always looks like she just stepped off a British runway.
8 ) If Sandra doesn't know what she's doing, yet provided that photo in the 3rd week, can you even TRY to imagine what she will do when she gets more experience?
9) I see Sandra as much more marketable and versatile than Teyona, although Teyona could also be big if she goes to the RIGHT people at the RIGHT time.
10) Natalie already takes photos that are on par, if not better, than Teyona's, AND looks amazing in person, probably why she didn't get a makeover, and has prior experience. Heck, I thought she deserved the first call-out this week. And don't even get me started on her walk, and the fact that she takes critique well.
11) Allison is slowly but surely improving. I would hardly hold her walk in the latest show with her walk at castings. And bonus clips show her practicing a lot and looking better and better.
12) Celia simply has a few things against her. Hair that light with skin so fair would make anyone look older, especially with very light eyebrows. The short cut makes it a little more as well. She has a small line on the side of her mouth in her makeover shot, and those were pretty much unretouched, and everyone has slight lines here and there. Another shade and cut would make her look much younger. (Look up Lara Stone).

I wouldn't mind if Teyona won, and knowing Tyra's choices, I'm expecting it strongly, but she's not my favorite at the moment, nor do I see her providing anything that I can really remember, like Allison's latest photo, Celia's 2nd photo, or Sandra's third photo.

Can I as Lara's fanatic say that she and Celia don't look alike? I am getting bored of that compairison because Celia is more glam and commercially appealing than her. Lara's look (as proven in SU thanks to moi) is not something most people appreciate as easily. Which is why I love her! My mom saw her in a magazine, called Lara "homely", and I fell in love! Crazy, but true.

Well, of course they're not twins or anything like that, but I do believe they have slightly similar appeal, along with the strong brow line.

I said it in the first week and I'm sticking to it; i think Tyra has already picked this girl to win. Anywayz this is a good photo (even tho its just a simple pose). I like how her eyes are piercing and her face is strong.

I bet you anything the covergirl tool will be lipstick, seeing how Teyona has no eyelashes. Like how Mckey got lips (her best asset), whitney got eyes (since she has no real lips), and so on and so forth.

^Not quite. She's just proving that modeling doesn't always have to be PRETZEL POSE FIERCE FACE! And she connected with the theme amazingly well.

David, I would actually like to point out one thing about my thing with Natalie. She does take great pictures, but by "better" I meant that she needs to take the next step. Week to week Natalie's been in the top five for me, but she needs to really crush the rest of these girls, which she has yet to do. I still believe Teyona's portfolio trumps Sandra's, though by no means do I not like Sandra. I immediately picked her as my favorite when I first saw her, and I do have the same top 5 as you. Still, Sandra's resemblence to Alek Wek can be a positive or negative. For one, she does have her look, but she pales in comparison photographically. Her look will give people high expectations of her, which, based on her performance thus far, she will not be able to live up to. The reason I believe Teyona's Week 1 pic was better was because Teyona had a "meh" face, and a great body, Sandra just had an okay face, okay body. Week two I guess we can agree to disagree, but Teyona demolished the competition that week, bar none. Sandra just faded into the background in that picture. It was more like Teyona-1, Sandra-9. For the tourists, I admit, Sandra completely earned that top callout, and completely rocked that shot, whereas Teyona got an A for effort, D for actual... Product. This puts them almost at fifty-fifty. Then there's the Ellis Island shoot, in which Teyona really killed Sandra. Maybe we don't see the pictures the same, but Teyona seemed to be doing the exact opposite of what Sandra did. Sandra just stood there, blank expression, not selling an emotion at all. Teyona just stood there, but she sold the feel of the shoot, while still looking like a model, rather than an amateur. In terms of body, Teyona's is more to my liking, if only because she has the praying mantis thing that I loved about Furonda. Even if they both achieve success, qwho do you think will become the supermodel? (Assuming one of them HAD to) Would it be the girl who looks like an alread successful supermodel, only not as skilled, or a girl with a fresh, interesting look, certainly unlike any other models around?

To be comely honest, Sandra, , becaues I don't feel people will warm up to Teyona's harsh features. I also don't see Teyona doing any real work besides a few jobs in the first year and a half, then drifting off the radar, or basically, Furonda 2.0.

I see Sandra booking loads of work, but I honestly don't see her actually pleasing the clients. Eventually she will run out of jobs, no one will want to hire her again, and her career will die out. I can see Teyona booking like, half as many jobs as the modelesque Sandra, but really delivering quality work. In the end, even if people don't like her look immediately, her portfolio will show that she CAN be a model. I just don't find Sandra incredibly photogenic. She looks nice in profile, but head on...

I fail to agree, especially since I doubt Sandra will never improve. The only reason she could be kept again is because she will become amazing, ala Fatima's bottom twos. Plus, she was signed before the show to a pretty good agency, so I think she knows how to present herself to the clients and in PROFESSIONAL situations.

Eyeshadows = Teyona's new friend her face becomes striking everytime she puts it on. Her face is essentially striking enough to support her stern pose. My fave for the win!
