She looks horrendously pedestrian in person, but her face in this shot is fabulous.

I love her, a little bit of Jaslene (Cycle and Julie (Cycle 3) and there we have Brittany. Damn this shot is fierce, I wasn't expecting that she could pull off such a fierce picture basing it on the photo before this and before she actually shot this photo.

i love it! i dunno y people are sayin dead face...her eyes are full of passion and patriotism! i love the simplicity of it and how she has made a model 101 pose look fabolous!

am gonna say what nigel said about dionnes dead shot its good but the lighting and background does the work here methinks

I honestly don't see the power in her face or pose. It looks like she's just... standing there...
In her defense, though, TYRA thought this was a good shot and hand picked it, so she probably had much better ones(Tyra's choices tend to be weird sometimes).
I thought she was the most stunning black girl in the bunch and top 3 for the most beautiful girl this season.

she's squinting and the pose is dull as dishwater. not smiling with your eyes, but "what the hell is that?!" squinting.

She's a lot prettier than I thought in person as opposed to her promo pic, I saw more of her Indian heritage in person. This pic is pretty good, not great, not bad. Dull pose but she still looks nice.

She almost looks disappointed or upset, like her boyfriend dumped her at the prom or something.

I think im the only one that LOVE'S this SHOT! I love that she looks tall & in control. Sure she's just standing there, and that makes it seem effortless. It's not her fault this shot was chosen. She worked it @ the shoot & delivered amazing shots. But Tyra ultimately has the final decision of the shots chosen & she picked this one. I LOVE THIS SHOT & BRITTANY!

@ SaNtErIa, well she looks tall, but I still didn't get all the praise she got for this shot. This shot is mediocre IMO, and boring. However, compared to some others that week, its pretty good. lol

What are they talking about her having intsensity in the eyes? Her eyes almost look dead. The pose is nice but the overall shot is average.

The body language is nice but the face isn't very alive. It's alright.

There's a way to just stand there and make it high fashion, and this isn't it...
