we've yet to see her in full profile, so i wouldn't throw that out. melrose is old IN YOUR OPINION! and she comes alive on camera. mckey returns to the cemetery on camera. not to say she ever wasn't there, considering her personality is dead too.
^Agreed with Mrbam! What I love about Melrose is that she knows her stuff. Like in her Hair Wars picture, her eyes are dead, but they work. To say that Melrose is a bad model is a CRIME. McKey rocks though too, she takes gorgeous pics, and her personality is great too.
um...ok. kat-jen, i never said that. i said I see her personality is dead. and i do. because it is. i never said anyone else does. and you can't tell me there is passion or power in her face. LOOK AT THE CLOSE-UP! it's blank. blank and dead. in about 9 out of ten of her shoots.
fine. and i have no problem with you saying that. because that's your opinion. but they're dead to me. dead, dead, DEAD! all the close ups are exactly the same minus the fiercee. the face is blank and dead.
^ Dave: I agree, Melrose (as annoying as she initially was for me) is very talented. Mckey is someone I'd be happy to see win, but she's not among my "high fashion elite" which consists of: Heather (big surprise, I know), Shandi, April, Katarzyna, Anya, Joanie, the Babin twins, Amanda Swafford (who I actually couldn't stand), Elyse, and Marjorie.
Maybe not everyone agrees with people like us, but who cares?

But you know what I think is really interesting with this cycle, is that everyone feels so invested in their faves, I didn't really see that as much last season. Cycle 11 has really opened a debate on what makes a model, definately one of my fave cycles.
^ The debate is because the last 2 cycles ended terribly for almost everybody! Me included (Katarzyna or Anya should have won, and Heather should have won!)
