It really irks me that the highest any ethnic model is on the sites top rated page is Jaslene's Cliches shot which is all the way on page six. That shot, as well as Lisa's gargoyle and Fatima's Fuerzabruta on the same page EASILY crush many of the shots in the top two or three pages. Just an observation I've made. (And though this doesn't have to do with race, HOW is Britt's Ice cream only on page three???)
^^^that is because Allison, Jenah and Anya (the 3 most overrated contestants of all time and believe me, I do like all 3 of them) take over all the top rated pages.
^^^I'm not trying to start something, because some of the shots really deserve to be there, but clearly there is a preference for models on this site. In the first 4 or 5 pages of the top rated page, around 70% of the pictures were taken by white, blonde-haired, blue-eyed girls. Like I said, I think that shots like Elyse's Snake, Anya's Paparazzi, Brittany's Kloofing, Brittany's Candy, Allison's Bird [even though I much prefer her Color] and Jenah's CG deserve to be on the first few pages but shots like Lisa's Gargoyle, Nik's Country Couture, Fatima's Fuerzabruta/CG or Eugena's Matador I think get kind of shafted TBH.
I don't think anyone here is racist or that there's discrimination against minority groups but CLEARLY there is a type of model that is preferred which is a white, blonde, blue-eyed girl.
well technically none of them except Jodie and Lauren Brie were originally blonde before the show (and even then Jodie's hair was a dark dark blonde to begin with)
^That really holds no relevance at all. It's true, there is a certain look that is preferred, and it just happens to be more of a Caucasian one. I mean, in general this hold true for the fashion industry, which is very eurocentric at the moment, but even then, there's usually ONE top "ethnic" model, like Jourdan Dunn is now.

^^^^I actually think that it's only really relevant to this site, I mean yes, the industry is definitely white-washed and the Eastern European android look/baby doll look is definitely in but I mean, on here, it's usually pretty, white, blonde, blue-eyed girls who get the top rated page. I don't know, I'm not trying to like flame anyone or anything like that, but there is definitely a preference for girls who are more classically pretty, like Jenah, Chantal, Anya, Joanie. I love 3 of those girls and think that they are totally fabulous and amazing models but they are all very classically pretty TBH. I don't know, there is definitely a look that is preferred here.
this is stunning, idk why people say this has too much Lady Gaga in it. Lady Gaga has amazing songs, but she's not pretty, at all. She has a huge nose, lazy eye, she looks like she's 67, and she needs a face lift ASAP. LB is FIERCE!

Lauren Brie and Lady Gaga got something in common though, both are as overrated as possible.
