Jake... what do you class as high fashion becuase I can guarantee you as someone who works in this industry Commercial pays much more usually than what most people class as HF! HF vogue covers then yes they pay a nice chunk but lets be honest not many ANTM girls will reach that level!

^As far as appearance, I'd much rather have editorial photos, but I really thought that the pay for editorial was a lot less than commercial. Can you give me examples where the pay is better for editorial? (lol I'm really curious now, since I may be wrong)
but that's what I don't understand. Isn't editorial/high fashion/couture really expensive, with top notch stylists and photographers? Well why wouldn't that pay alot?

I'd imagine any campaign for a high fashion designer would pay well but on the whole, commercial modeling/catalog modeling pays better because it a) is more abundant, b) has a larger marketable audience, c) has less discriminating tastes, and d) has a high profit margin compared to an often minimal overhead which provides more money to pay a model.
