Ok, I think I understand what Paulina was trying to say... her eyes are way far up and her mouth is hanging looking like it she didnt mean to do it on purpose... like she's sort of staring at nothing... so yea she does look kind of stupid...
Anya should have won. Her shots are awesome, she is beautiful on the inside and on the outside. She has never been in the bottom 2 and was called first five times! SOOO UPSET whitney won over my favorite!!! ANYA IS SO HIGH-FASHION. She will have an awesome career!!! GO ANYA!!!!
Anya was in the same position as Joanie, remember? You also have to keep in mind that the winner would become a CoverGirl. Whitney is much more commercial than Anya is because Anya is a high fashion model and this photo shows that she is not commercial. Also the fact that Whitney is "plus-sized" made it more interesting. The entire competition is so political. Don't worry I can guarantee you that Anya will become a very successful model if she continues to model.
I was really disappointed with this picture. I expected so much more... I disagree with 165789309 though about her not being commercial. She looked great and very commercial in the 7up ad.
Well, the picture is not my favorite of her. I don't really like it, I prefer whitney's, but I agree with you guys. She will be an amazing model, she is very talented. Go anya! And congratulations whit, even when I don't like you to much XD.
am i the only one that loves this. its sohpisicated and not too commercial. its very modelesque but still beautiful. i love her face and her lips are gorgeous. this is pure covergirl mixed with a model. its brilliant. whitney's look like a commercial pretty girl but thats boring and fatmia's looks like some weird doll
She's looks really pretty and i wished that she would of won her covergirl was better then whitneys whitneys mouth wa open ok but it was sorta slanted? wierd
I like this photo for its beautiful, dramatic lighting, and because the subject looks pretty. But when I assess the strength of it from a modeling standpoint, then yeah, it's pretty weak. But I still like it. Anya's eyes are just WAY up there, and it ends up looking like a blank stare. Really, I didn't think any of the three photos were slam dunks.
This is a very pretty shot but by no means is it a winning COVERGIRL shot.Anya was my favorite to win and I feel she really could've pulled off a better shot if only her uncertainty hadn't gotten to her.Btw how rude was Paulina saying she actually looks dumb here?I guess she's trying to be the panel's new Janice Dickinson.
what i like about this photo is that its interesting. whitney for me is too "actressy", with that background or theme, the shot of whitney is quite pridictable. anya looked really classy in this pic.
I think its a great shot but I think the problem is the beauty is a little too sophisticated and not easily understood by the general public. Thus it isn't what Covergirl expects for a campaign.
Oh come on! Whenever someone's favourite didn't win, they always come up with BS excuses, saying that they chose a mediocre photo of Anya's so it doesn't outshine Whitney's. They chose Whitney, I love Anya and I know she'll have a fantastic career but the fact is they chose Whitney! Anya has an edge that isn't quite right for CoverGirl, and she was outshined by Whitney in the Versace fashion show. All this shot really does for Anya is show how beautiful her bone structure is, and that's about it. Her picture the week before (old hollywood) is one of the best pics in ANTM history, if I was a judge, I might have chosen Anya over Whitney, but they were running neck and neck IMO towards the end. I'm just sick of all the haters.
her nose looks funny here. although her overall performance was perfect for antm, she choked when it really counted. i liked both whitney and anya, though. i'm african american, and i couldn't stand fatima. i just think attitude has a lot to do with it, and though all of them had some pretty reprehensible characteristics, dominque and fatima were the worst to me. not that personality means a hill of beans in the fashion industry...
