I wasn't really blown away by this. The neck is long and beautiful, and the face is pretty good (and fortunately looks less like a dinosaur than usual), but it stops there for me. I like that the eyes look focused, but I wish she wasn't looking up. She was also lucky to get what I consider the most interesting shadow cast over her. 2nd call-out.
The lighting is what makes this interesting. Often times I feel like Krista does not contribute much to her photos. They end up being interesting due to styling or compostition. So I just cannot believe this was FCO.

I think this is good, but not great. I actually prefer Raina's, but this is second best. It just kinda looks like some ho hum perfume ad or something. The perfume would be called 'Zigzag'.. (:
At least this is a shot of Krista that doesn't suck. I kinda thought of a Grace Jones album cover when I saw this. Did not deserve FCO but it doesn't suck.
What I don't get is why Tyra goes through all that unnecessary preparation in terms of the styling just to have most of the pictures she's ever taken be in black and white, or severely reduced of color. Was the distinction of the red clay in Krista's hair that important if the picture is in black and white? This photo is something though. It's nice. My hate for this monster prevents me from properly praising it.
SHE DID NOT DESERVE FCO THIS WEEK OR LAST WEEK. I am so beyond sick of Tyra trying to shove Krista down our throats, hoping that we'll like her just because they praise her. She'll obviously be in the final two, but I really don't want her to win. Raina needs to work it out next week so she can win.
i like it! It's good to see a girl with her features finally doing well! Usually girls like, Ebony, Sandra, Nnena who have those extreme looks, short hair,almost primitive facial features , don't know how to model. But watching Krista during the shoot, i know she has IT!
